SQL Developer / DBA Position
Reichard Staffing is seeking a well rounded SQL Developer who also has experience and exposure managing and maintaining SQL Server Databases.
Must possess expert knowledge of IT industry. Healthcare industry is preferred but not required.
· Advanced, leading edge knowledge of hardware architecture, leading edge knowledge of backup and recovery concepts
· Detailed knowledge of operating systems
· Leading edge knowledge of third party tools
· Advanced, leading edge of performance monitoring tools
· Extensive knowledge of PMM concepts, methodologies, and tools
· Advanced understanding of n-tier application architecture and related web technologies.
· Deep technical knowledge of relational database systems, systems management, and programming is required.
· Expert understanding of development practices concerning database systems.
Candidate must be proficient in MS SQL Server programming; proficiency in using / supporting multiple relational databases such as Oracle, DB2, MS SQL, LDAP, IMS; advanced, leading edge proficiency using / supporting across multiple operating systems (e.g., Windows, UNIX), to include advanced scripting; advanced proficiency in entity relationship modeling using an ER tool as well as advanced in multi-dimensional modeling.
Advanced, leading edge proficiency in the design, development and implementation of the following:
1) Large database environments for decision support and OLTP.
2) Parallel database environments for scalability and high availability.
3) Business applications (e.g., ERP, CRM) with integrated database technologies.
5+ years professional experience as a database administrator on the targeted operating system platform. Must have detailed knowledge of an operating system. Must have strong experience creating entity relationship modeling using an ER tool. Must have strong experience with multi-dimensional modeling. Must have extensive operational experience implementing and maintaining a database (includes backup and recovery procedures).
