Position: Web Developer
Location: Minneapolis with option to work virtually
Description
We are looking for an experienced .NET developer who can work closely with the business to develop and support both client and internal web applications. This position is part of a software development team that works with business representatives using an agile methodology to define system requirements and then design, develop, test and deploy data-driven, web-based applications.
Responsibilities:
Working with direction from senior members of the development team, the Web Developer position will be responsible for development, testing, and debugging application code and providing ongoing support as needed for deployed applications in coordination with the Development and Desktop Support teams.
On a day-to-day basis, the Web Developer also:
· Collaborates with the business and other development team members to gather, define and understand requirements
· Develops applications and system interfaces that meet identified requirements.
· Conducts thorough testing of all written code
· Updates requirements documentation as needed throughout development process
· Works closely with Web Designer to ensure development meets design specifications.
· Works closely with Systems Quality Assurance Coordinator to ensure that all developed code successfully passes both system and user acceptance testing.
· Attends all team meetings
· Tracks time and task completion in both project management and defect tracker portals
· Other development and support duties as assigned
Required Education/Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent relevant work experience.
· 3-5 years of work experience developing web-based, object-oriented, database-driven software applications
