Safety & Training Supervisor
We are currently seeking a Safety & Training Supervisor for the Lakewood, NJ Customer Service Center.
Safety & Training Supervisor Requirements:
5 + years work experience with 3 years in school transportation industry preferred
High school diploma or equivalent, some college, including education/training courses preferred
Strong leadership skills
Innovative classroom training skills, knowledge of adult training techniques
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong organization, interpersonal, and group presentation skills
Compliance with state requirements
Safety & Training Supervisor Responsibilities include:
Select and train qualified School Bus Drivers according to state and company established guidelines
Provide ongoing training and performance evaluations for all drivers as well as supervising the safety program of the customer service center, including monthly safety meetings and the accident review committee
Proactively recruiting individuals to become school bus drivers
Perform Driver Orientation in conjunction with Operations Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor and General Manager
