Description:
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide transition and employment education including workshops and individual counseling in a fast paced, customer service oriented environment to separating or retiring military personnel and families. Will be responsible for program development to include: coordination, implementation and evaluation of services. Strong customer service skills are essential. This position will require shipboard travel.
Education/Experience:
Associate degree in education, social or behavioral sciences or 2 years' experience providing education and/or work/family life consultation
2 years adult program development and planning experience within human services setting
Strong adult education or group facilitation skills essential
Firsthand knowledge of military lifestyle desired
Prior career, employment or transition counseling experience desired
Familiarity with military and civilian resources desired
All positions which require access to U.S. government facilities and systems require U.S. Citizenship.
