Ausley Associates UAS Senior Software Engineer job description TASKS Support UAS Airspace Integration lead engineer and software IPT Lead in overseeing development and integration of common Airborne Sense-And-Avoid (ABSAA) system onto USAF and USN class 5 unmanned aircraft. Review and make recommendations regarding all specifications, design documents, test plans, configuration management plans, CDRLs, and interface documents related to ABSAA software. Support oversight of development of common architecture and design of system and integration into the applicable platforms, ensuring adherence to all relevant DoD specifications and practices. Work with multiple organizational elements and be proactive in resolving development and integration issues and be capableof developing and giving presentations. Participate in architecture, design, and software safety discussions as required. ---- BACKGROUND Knowledge, skills and experience with SW Dev Life Cycle & SW Certification Processes SW Development Toolsets (e.g., ClearCase & ClearQuest) SW structures, processes and plans SW metrics (e.g., SLOCs, bandwidths, throughput) SW Safety DoD Acquistion Experience as a team/project lead on major DoD program SW efforts, working with SW Modeling and Simulations, code development, 15+ years experience, and an advanced degree beneficial.
