Ausley Associates has a Systems Engineer/Program Analyst position for candidate with Navy Communications Experience. Desired Skills and Knowledge: • Working knowledge of military communications systems on USN or USAF aircraft (e.g., ARC-182/ARC-210, MIDS/JTIDS, and SATCOM) • Ability to develop and document strategies and budgets in support of acquisition milestone reviews, specifically for the integration of hardware and software into USN aircraft • Ability to analyze and assess resulting system performance versus specified capability requirements • Ability to interpret /translate overarching technical system requirements and provide necessary input and influence to the development and integration effort needed to incorporate next generation communications systems into USN aircraft • 5+ years of systems acquisition and systems engineering experience in a DoD environment • Ability to coordinate activities across engineering, project management, logistics, test, and prime/sub contractor teams; manage changes to policies and procedures, and develop and track Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) • Travel as necessary to support system/product development • Competency with MS Office suite of applications and project management software such as MS Project Educational Requirements: B.S. in an engineering discipline Security Clearance Requirements: Active Secret Desired (plus) • An advanced degree, DAWIA certifications in Systems Engineering, Program Management, or Life Cycle Logistics • Aviation operator background
