Company Job Title: EMIS SpecialistChenega Job Title: Subj Matter Spec I, ITClearance: NoneLocation: Holloman AFB, New MexicoReports To: Bill DillonFLSA Status: Non-ExemptPrepared Date: 10/06/2009Approved Date: 10/06/2009SummaryThe EMIS / EESOH-MIS Specialist will be primarily responsible for conducting a range of scheduled routine maintenance on the EMIS system at each base ensuring data is accurately entered at satellite hazardous material locations and shops. The EMIS / EESOH-MIS specialist will help identify training requirements. Display a total customer services attitude at all times.2. Maintain daily system back up.3. Perform regular tests to assure good back-ups.4. Update system software as required. 5. Trouble-shoot the system as needed.6. Run various reports to ensure data accuracy.7. Download the QSL file from AFCEE FTP site monthly.8. Add and maintain system user accounts. 9. Identify specific training needs for the AF-EMIS / EESOH-MIS system.10. At times, run various SQL scripts to identify problems and/or fix problems with the system or data. 11. Conduct training to the Hazmart and shop users. 12. Assist with all aspects of data entry as required.13. Schedule regular visits to all satellite areas that are using AF-EMIS.14. Other duties as assigned.SupervisionNoneMinimum QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Education and/or ExperienceAn individual must have at least twelve months of AF-EMIS database administration experience.Computer SkillsDemonstrate knowledge of AF-EMIS. Demonstrate knowledge of a relational database. Demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft software products to include SQL version 7.0, Excel and Access. Have a specific awareness of data quality in regards to a relational database. AF-EMIS specific training is a plus. Have a working knowledge of Crystal Reports.
