MNS Testing Supervisor

The MNS Testing Supervisor will be responsible for managing the MNS QA group – Create test strategies, create plans in support of the strategies, track the plans to successful completion. Work to improve the process both within the QA organization and across MNS.
What You’ll Need:
Create comprehensive Test Strategies and plans for product releases and new products to ensure high quality products are delivered to customers.
Continuously innovate the testing methodology to keep pace with the changing complexities of the MNS product line.
Develop and guide automated test cases for all products
Represent the test team all change control board meetings
Execute tests and configure systems for test
Responsible for creating effective measures and evaluating the test team results and reporting the results with analysis for all products under test.
Lead and coach the performance and productivity of all test personnel, which entails making personnel decisions such as hiring/firing, salary, coaching, developing improvement plans, and mentoring
Work with on-shore and off-shore contract test resources to evaluate test results; coordinate and collaborate as required
Determine equipment and facility requirements for all product test needs
Champion process changes required to advance the QA group.
Effectively communicate urgent issues with internal and external customers
May be required to communicate with senior level management, VP level, in order to share testing strategy and results
Skills, Training, Experience Required:
Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or CS required, MS preferred.
3-5 years experience testing electrical products + 3 years of management experience in a product development environment required.
Must understand and be comfortable with the vernacular of the industry, including the following terms:
· TCP / IP, SNMP, SMTP
· Datagrams, Packets
