Description:
Back End Fab Engineer
Responsibilities:
Develops, establishes and maintains quality engineering methodologies, systems and practices which meet internal and external customer requirements.
Serves as a quality representative to improve awareness, visibility, communication on quality issues to support corporate quality goals and priorities.
Provides focused quality engineering support within factory operations.
Will be responsible for monitoring all visual defects, and feeding that information to the Growth and Fab engineers.
Will be expected to participate in customer source inspections.
Must keep operators trained to a consistent inspection criterion.
Will be asked to assist with production on organizing shipments and helping with data compilation.
Will be expected to assist other production engineers on characterizing defects to help eliminate them.
Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations
Monitor yield variations and drive timely corrective actions.
Analyze failure mechanisms using statistical analysis and identify root causes.
Define and verify critical SPC parameters.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education: BS or MS in engineering or science.
Ability to effectively lead and function in teams.
Excellent communications skills.
Knowledge of semiconductor processing and materials.
Six-Sigma, statistical analysis/control coursework preferred.
At least five years experience preferred.
