Electrical Engineer -Professional Engineer - High Voltage Electrical Engineer - High Voltage Substation - Power Plant Switchyards - Professional Engineer - Skills Required - Electrical Engineer, High Voltage Substation, High Voltage Power Plant Switchyard, Utility Substation, Transmission Network Projects, Substation physical design, Substations up to 500kV, AC, DC, Bill of materialsIf you are a Senior Electrical Engineer with High Voltage Substation and Power Plant experience, please read on!We are an international engineering company that focuses on power generation and renewable energy projects.What you need for this position:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering- Professional Engineer license preferred- 5+ years experience in physical engineering of high voltage power plant switchyards and utility substations- Familiar with design , specification, layout and procurement of high voltage substations.- Demonstrates ability to manage engineering tasks and design efforts on Transmission Network projects. - Strong background in substation physical design.What you'll be doing:- Prepare engineering deliverables for high voltage substation equipment and design modification packages. - Specify and layout all major equipment within a high voltage utility substation up to 500kV- Prepare substation drawings and calculations for;~~ grounding~~ lightning protection~~ rigid bus bracing~~ transformer sizing~~ fault calculations~~ AC and DC auxiliary system sizing calculations- Able to produce bills of material for all substation components.
