Providing Out of Box user experience for LRB
Responsibilities include:
Software Engineer responsible for test planning, development and execution for assigned product components and/or sub-systems
Testing focused at the "White Box" level through test automation when possible
Scope of testing includes functional, boundary conditions, performance, code coverage analysis, race conditions and memory leaks
In addition the SQE Engineer is responsible for verifying documentation, adherence to coding standards and ProtexIP verification
Required Skills:
Software testing experience
API testing
Strong knowledge of C/C++, PERL, Shell, Java, MySQL
Should be able to read/write C++/Java Code Experience in code coverage tools & developing back end test automation frameworks
Ability to drive technical and automation solution for complex projects
Additional Skills:
Must be able to work independently and manage time and the time of the team to maximize the amount of test coverage on each title
Knowledge of current QA policies and procedures preferred
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Able to work overtime as needed
