We are looking for an experienced Medical Billing Manager, preferably in the environment of a durable medical equipment supplier.We are looking for a candidate that has a professional work ethic, a solid education, and a drive to accomplish.Ideal candidates must have excellent organizational skills, possess excellent phone etiquette, strong communication skills and be comfortable in a small company atmosphere.We are looking for a candidate that takes initiative to improve the flow of work around them through the use of prioritization, policy, delegation, communication/reporting to management, and effective problem solving. We are looking for some one to take charge of their responsibilities with great accuracy and pace.DutiesDirecting and managing sales reps via memo's and phone communicationsAcquiring knowledge of DME Medicare policy and implementing it into our company processesAssisting in contracting and credentialing with select private group insurance companiesAssisting in Healthcare Accreditation and standardsMedical Claims processingDocument retentionOverseeing a staff of 3-5 billing specialists and customer service representatives.Major Qualifications:  * Strong project management abilities.  * Strong leadership skills, including the ability to organize, motivate and direct the work of others and make logical business decisions.  * Consult with and advise senior management on current and anticipated problems, challenges and opportunities and recommend solutions or courses of action to deal effectively with such issues.  * Experience in Review and Follow-Up and knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 codes  * Propose, implement and maintain compliance with company policies.  * Three years and up to five years medical billing experience required  * A strong focus on detail and accuracy of work  * Associates degree (bachelors preferred) or equivalent  * High proficiency with MS office, Excel, internet searching, windowsOur offer:$30,000-$40,000/yearMedical insurance coveragePaid vacations and holidays
