Description:
North Orange County: Responsible for Accounts payable, payroll (ADP), and general accounting functions as well as assisting Controller with various accounting projects, such as fixed assets, inventory, financial audits, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. Regularly reconciles general ledger accounts, bank accounts and/or other transactional accounts.
Assists Controller with accounting related projects, such as fixed assets, inventory, financial audits, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, etc. Education/Experience: Associates degree (A.A.) in Accounting or Finance; or similar financial discipline is necessary. Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S) in Accounting or Finance; or similar financial discipline is a plus. Approximately five (5) years related experience as an Accountant, Accounting Clerk, and/or Payroll Clerk or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a good working knowledge of spreadsheet programs as well as a good working knowledge of accounting software programs ie: MAS90/MAS200, PeachTree or PeopleSoft would be fine.
