Assignment Capsule
As Performance Management Consultant you will be accountable for implementing new initiatives and process improvements projects for all functions in the Clinical Intake Team (CIT).
Business lead for new initiatives in the precertification, concurrent review and case management functions in CIT.
Develop workflows and materials for new initiatives.
Oversight and development of new initiative early indicators and action planning to achieve desired business outcomes.
Assess process change impact for complexity and stability of the existing process when implementing new initiatives.
Business lead for process improvement projects as assigned.
Effective change management planning and utilization of communication models.
Serves as Subject Matter Expert for CIT processes.
Demonstrate expert knowledge policies and procedures.
Oversight of training effectiveness for new initiatives.
Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvements.
Perform process analysis, gap identification, and implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce cost and improve overall functional productivity.
Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve issue resolution effectively and efficiently.
Represent CIT as the unit spokesperson to various internal and external audiences.

Role Essentials.
Bachelor's in health- or business-related field. Related experience will be considered.
Quality, process improvement, or related experience required.
Excellent PC skills (including MS Word, Excel, Visio and Project) required.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
Strong organizational skills.
Health care experience preferred.
Role Desirables
Demonstrates a basic understanding of project management disciplines.
Project management experiences a plus.
Exhibit effective facilitation practices: Prepare agendas, schedule meetings, facilitates meetings, and takes complete and accurate meeting minutes.
Effective communication style - knows appropriate detail level with audiences, clear and concise.
Experience identifying and applying process improvements.
Holds people accountable and responsible.
Be able to work in a virtual environment. (Ex. Net meeting opportunities, video conferencing, etc.)
Must be self-directed and motivated.
Must have the ability to multi-task.
Experience with MS Access a plus.
Possess good organizational skills.
Recognize issues and escalate appropriately.
Able to identify and work with project/initiative risks.
Demonstrate the ability to forecast schedule and time commitments.
