Assignment Capsule
As a Clinical Quality Analytics Manager, you will lead the development of metrics and analytics for Humana's clinical quality initiatives. Your team will collect and analyze data on clinical quality, generate actionable information and make recommendations that drive decision making in the quality area. You will provide ongoing associate coaching and feedback to enhance associate contribution, competency, and performance. Specifically, you will
Be responsible for Clinical Quality Improvement study design, measurement, analysis and reporting.
Oversee day to day operations and human capital for the Quality Analytics area.
Achieve performance metrics for a fast paced environment.
Develop team members and creating department process flows
Develop, articulate and implement a strategy for the area.
Lead HEDIS (Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set) measure comparison validation and analysis. Translate data-driven insights to design and develop quality improvement programs
Develop outcomes studies for interventions
Act as the key analytics point of contact with internal customers managing Quality programs
Proactively partner and team with different parts of the organization to meet or exceed Humana's clinical quality objectives

Role Essentials
Progressive analytical leadership experience
Knowledge of HEDIS and other clinical quality measures
Entrepreneurial with a keen analytic mind, who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Masters Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Health Administration or related fields, or equivalent experience
Knowledge of statistical methods and tools (SAS)
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Excellent PC skills (including MS Word, Excel and Access).
Role Desirables
Prior experience with HEDIS software (ViPS MedMeasures)
Experience with SQL, PL/SQL
Prior people management experience in managed care or health care dministration.
Reporting Relationships
You will have direct reports and will report to the Director of Clinical Outcomes. This area is under the leadership of the VP of Health Guidance Organization and Chief Operations Officer.
