Production Lead - Process Engineer – Plastic Injection Molding
2nd Shift - 3pm to 11pm

Our client’s team is a best-in-class blend of mold and engineering expertise, skilled mold making, a thorough knowledge of engineering thermoplastics processing, and a high-level service and quality awareness. They are seeking to add to their team to ensure they give each client the best the industry has to offer. Responsibilities:
Serve as Production Lead for Operators and Secondary Ops
Set-up injection molding presses, molds, and automation processes
Use strong problem solving skills to troubleshoot mold machines, auxiliary equipment, and processes
Reconfigure molds on presses
Minimize equipment downtime
Identify defects and make adjustments
Follow written and verbal instructions; manage workload and schedules to complete assignments
Support production schedules; perform quick mold changes
Oversee startup of manufacturing jobs and materials changeovers
Oversee completion of PM work orders
Complete and document PM actions
Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with facility guidelines and procedures
Requirements:
5-7 years solid, hands-on experience as an Injection Molding Process Technician in an injection molding manufacturing facility
Injection molding machines, auxiliary, and processing
Injection Molding (Set-up / Quick mold changes / Operation / Process)
Strong problem solving skills
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Solid computer skills
Results-oriented
