Description:
We are currently looking for Software Engineers to work within Software Communications Architecture (SCA) programs will include development of state-of-the-art communications systems and implementing embedded software communications protocols in products for the U.S military. This position will include requirements definition, detailed design, implementing software, unit test and integration.
Required Experience
C++ and object-oriented analysis and design is required.
Working knowledge with C++ templates.
UML modeling tools, design patterns and CORBA is also desired.
Experience or familiarity with radio communications systems.
Open software architecture frameworks like Software Communications Architecture (SCA) or Software Defined Radio (SDR), and Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) for Power PC are desired but not required.
Must be a US Citizen
Must have the ability to obtain an active Department of Defense Security Clearance
The ideal candidate will also have direct experience implementing embedded real-time military communications software and a knowledge of the implementation of communications systems, and also be familiar with standard software development practices and be willing to adapt them to Our Clients software development processes.
