Distributed Technology Services (DTS) is responsible for managing the firm's global storage portfolio and global GTI server portfolio of over 10,000 server operating system instances across plan, build and operate. The organization drives product management, engineering standards and productivity initiatives for global storage and GTI led server technologies across the firm, as well as managing selected application services, including web hosting, middleware, source code management and database management. In the role of North America Security Operations Lead, you will be responsible for managing 24x7 Security support in a heterogeneous server (Sun, HP, IBM) environment. The environment consists of Red Hat Linux, Solaris 8, 9 and 10 and AIX servers in Production. The team is responsible for the deployment and configuration of security products onto new UNIX hosts, including the design of controls. Primarily this relates to the Fox Technologies BoKS and CA eTrust Access Control security products. This includes consultation regarding the best configuration fit for the security controls placed around each specific application. Also perform support of the existing production security infrastructure (Masters, Replicas and Clients) globally. Perform Level 2 support for the ITRM ID Administration and Monitoring functions. Also perform consultation relating to operational security and the on-boarding of servers into the UNIX Remediated Environment. Identification and escalation of technology risks as appropriate. Ongoing Development of scripted solutions to improve the functionality supplied to, or the efficiency of the BAU Security Teams. Must be able to work independently as well as with a group. Perform duties following all JPMC standards regarding, engagement, change management and escalations. Required to escalate to vendors and provide root cause analysis and incident reports. Provide timely resolution to break/fix issues.
