Position requires: Bachelor's degree (preferred in Chemistry, Biology (or other Sciences), Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Business). Experience with MS Office Suite of Tools, including Microsoft Excel required. Completion of DAU Acquisition Level 1 or higher Certification courses strongly preferred. Individual must possess, or be able to obtain, a DoD SECRET security clearance. Work location is in Falls Church, VA. Some travel.
Duties: Provide general acquisition and program management support to the Director, Current Acquisition, assigned Integrated Program Assistance Team (IPAT), and Joint Project Manager (JPM) to work in support of the acquisition of Chemical and Biological Defense Detection equipment. Responsible for supporting the development and staffing of critical acquisition documentation to include, the Single Acquisition Management Plan (SAMP), Acquisition Program Baseline (APB), Acquisition Strategy (AS), Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP) Acquisition Decision Memorandums (ADM), etc. Support preparation of Business Case Analyses (BCA) and cost estimates. Analyze, synthesize, and aggregate program information from a variety of sources to determine the overall health of assigned programs. Prepare draft briefings, reports, and written materials as appropriate. Conduct independent technical review and analysis of assigned Chemical and Biological Defense programs and provide results and recommendations to the Director, Current Acquisition, JPM and Joint Program Executive Officer.
