Description:
Position requires: Two to three years prior military or civilian experience with military medical logistics or supply chain management and experience with all logistics functions (supply, maintenance, etc.). Experience in business process development. Acquisition knowledge and experience to include experience with logistics milestone documentation.  DAWIA Level II or higher certification in Logistics highly desired.  Bachelors degree in business, supply chain management, logistics or related scientific or engineering field. Possess a Secret Clearance or be able to obtain an interim and final Secret Clearance Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Power Point and Excel. Knowledge/experience in Chemical and Biological Defense Medical Systems logistics highly desired.
Duties: Serve as the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD) Chemical and Biological Defense Medical Logistics Analyst for the Logistics Team within the Current Acquisition Directorate. Provide support to JPEO CBD and assigned Joint Project Managers (JPM) in all aspects of acquisition logistics related to CBD Medical products. Draft, review, staff and update a variety of JPM/JPEO acquisition program documentation such as Joint Integrated Logistics Assessments (JILA), training plans, fielding plans, supportability strategies, etc. Support JPEO CBD staff and JPMs with completion of Joint material release process. Serve as Staff subject matter expert on unique logistics requirements, including packaging, handling, shipment, storage, and transportation of CBD medical diagnostic, prophylactic, and therapeutic products. Support on-going efforts to improve tracking of CBD Medical products and improved analysis of O&S costs. Prepare draft briefings, reports, and written materials as appropriate. Maintain well-organized archives of all such material. Assist in scheduling facilities, speakers, and attendees for meetings, conferences and Program Reviews. Develop and disseminate invitations and agendas, and coordinate logistics and security requirements with the host facility. Record conference minutes, and, after approval, disseminate to attendees.  Some travel. Work location is Falls Church, VA.
