We have an immediate need for a IT Outsourcing/Offshoring Mgr - 1 year contract JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities include: Develop a vendor consolidation strategy for Offshore IT services Develop a charter and a detailed plan for rationalizing IT Vendors in clients North America business units to an optimal number Develop a preferred vendor program Syndicate approach with the business units Lead the implementation of the program including: -Working with business units to develop scope of work for RFP -Conducting the RFP process -Leading Contract negotiations -Creation of SoWs (including review with BUs and vendors) -Work with BUs to develop and syndicate transition plans -Implement a vendor performance management framework through SLAs, Risk/Reward models -Develop framework to report on utilization of IT offshore vendors Outsourcing Experience and Educational background: Demonstrated experience in Vendor Consolidation initiatives in Application Development and Maintenance outsourcing and offshoring Big 4 Consulting background preferred 4 year Engineering degree/Masters degree in Engineering/MBA/or Equivalent degree 15+ years of IT experience including 5+ years of experience in managing large offshore programs 5+ Experience in creation/responding to large RFPs 5+ Experience in contracts including documenting SoWs, negotiations with customers Experience with sourcing tools such as Emptoris.
