We have an immediate need for a Sr. Business Analyst. JOB DESCRIPTION: The position is a Business Analyst in the Customer Management team within the International Consumer and Small Business Services Risk Management organization. The incumbent of the position will involve gaining an in-depth understanding of customer management strategies and be responsible for integrating strategies in the risk infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for: -Develop program specifications/detail design documents, code, tests and debug complex applications programs. -Effectively communicating the status of any project/change request to management and business partners; evaluating and fixing any issues that may arise within the current process execution. -Create standardized documentation of the ad hoc and validation processes; responding to issues raised by various international process teams. -Collaborate with the team to proactively initiate improvements to existing processes and system capabilities. Qualifications: -Familiarity and understanding of Boolean logic. -Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to drive process improvement. -Must be able to work and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, under minimal supervision. -Strong sense of urgency and demonstrated ability to exceed expectations. -Strong communication skills. -Must be proficient in Microsoft applications. -Must have exposure/experience in MVS (ISPF, JCL, Syncsort, Fileaid), UNIX, and PC operating environments. -Knowledge of SAS, SQL preferred. -Should be open to being on call for emergencies and contingencies that impact business. -Strong team player. -Assembles, analyzes, and represents customer business requirements, Performs feasibility analysis, scopes project, and recommends alternative solutions (such as to develop or buy software/hardware) and project strategy and deliverable prioritization. -Performs all functions of a Business Analyst. Performs cost estimating, cost benefits analysis, and ROI (return on investments). -Develops high level implementation plans. Able to perform as a Team Leader when necessary. -Facilitates workshops, such as JAD, RAD and DRP sessions. -Produces data and process models. -Possesses technical background in required applications and tools.
