JOB DESCRIPTION: Mid-level VB/.Net programmer to provide enhancements and support of VB programs and to develop .NET C# Web applications. Complete Description: 3-5 years experience in technologies such as C#, ASP.Net, VB.Net and Eprise. Should be able to develop Web content in Eprise. The breadth of technical skills should cover hands-on experience on Client Server systems, Web based systems, distributed systems, tiered architecture, services, COMTI, etc. Must have experience on Relational Database including writing queries, working with stored procedures for databases such as SQL Server, DB2, etc. Good understanding of Web security technologies and practices. Good understanding of Software development lifecycle and related methodologies for Web and Windows development environment, Web content management, SOA concepts to implement integration of new and existing information systems, Software Configuration Management principles and tools, Client Server technologies. Resolves complex business issues and problems and recommends information system technology solutions. Projects assigned have moderate scope, complexity and budget and require good understanding of the business functions and applications. Participate as a project member. Experience in working with the business users - understanding their needs, eliciting business requirements, estimation and delivering the appropriate solution. Process driven software release management experience for defects/enhancements and operational improvements. Behavior Characteristics: Demonstrated ability to apply problem analysis/resolution techniques. Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills. Must be a team player.
