This telephone map tech Position Features:
Hours: 10-20 hours per week - flexible with schedule
Must have AVAYA or QWEST experience and 5 years mapping.
Job Description The AVAYA PBX MAC Technician performs system moves, adds and changes and simple troubleshooting for: Avaya Communication Manager/8700, Modular Messaging and eCAS. Required Skills The successful candidate will perform the following: MAC's for approx. 1500 users at a two building campus and will participate in the analysis and resolution of network and telephony problems. Install and/or troubleshoot telephones (Phone types: 24XX, 64XX, 46XX, 96XX and Polycoms), fax machines, cross connects (66, 110 and Krone) and alarms/errors. Perform weekly/monthly backups for all phone and voicemail systems. Install temporary hubs in conference rooms for meetings. Basic support and troubleshooting of conference room audio visual equipment including projectors, conference phones, touchpanels and TVs Escalate trouble to telecom vendors and follow through to completion. Required Experience The successful candidate will have the following skills and work experience: A strong background in basic telecommunications knowledge, including network services, PBX and hybrid / key systems, and cable distribution systems. Minimum of 4 years working experience performing day to day operations (Moves, adds, changes/basic administration/troubleshooting of Avaya S8720 telephone systems.). Modular Messaging and eCAS. SecureLogix knowledge, Ability to communicate to all levels of management and be able to work with no supervision. Part-time 12-20 hours per week, flexible schedule based on ticket activity.
Need to have Avaya experience
