Description:
The position of a Marketing Brand Specialist is to assist the Innovation team with the execution of Innovation Initiatives and provide general operational support to the Innovation Team. This role directly supports the Brand Director and Marketing Team and interacts with the cross-functional teams/Brand Management Teams. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for generating business tracking and reporting as needed
Conduct tracking and reconciliation of fixed and promotional budgets including PO inputs, invoice tracking, reconciliation of recorded expenses, recommendation of reclassification entries to ensure budget accuracy
Assist with the development of Activity Briefs, Activity Development Proposals, Activity Execution Proposals in collaboration with Activity Management Team, Sales, Regulatory, and Marketing
Assist with the on-going tracking of Innovation metrics in collaboration with the MOS (Activity Management) team
Co-ordinate, on behalf of Marketing, planning of trade show/sales activities, mailing of samples, premium development, mock-ups, and other brand related collateral
Attend and address ad hoc business requests related to business tracking, presentations, informational requests, fulfilment requests, maintenance for brand premiums and materials, samples, marketplace competitor activities

Act as internal coordinator for internal needs such as events and communications updates
Support Innovation Director/Brands Management Team (BMT) in regards to maintaining calendar/meetings/travel arrangements.
Key Skills Required: Basic Understanding of Marketing Principles
Understanding of business processes
Strong awareness and understanding of functional practices, processes, and policies
Data formatting and reporting (including strong Excel, PowerPoint skills)
Drive for results / Action Oriented
Project Management Skills
MARS systems skills (i.e. - NAIRDS, Packaging Spec. Database, TMAR, PaRTS Image databaseKnowledge of IRI & associated measures, analytics is a plus
