Duties: This position will serve as a analyst, accomplishing analytical efforts upon which US CENTRAL COMMAND (USCENTCOM) Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) and Cooperative Defense Program (CDP) plans, programs, policies, procedures, and system determinations will be predicated. Additionally you will provide responsive, interdisciplinary, analytical capability, involving broad, undefined complex issues of either ad hoc or recurring nature, affecting all Combatant Commands, Military Services and Defense Agencies' policies and programs related to CWMD and depleted uranium related issues. You will also research suspected problem areas, identify key variables or factors and develop practical and innovative solutions based on knowledge of the organization's long and short term goals. Experience: Two years of general staff and interagency experience desired. Specific higher staff experience will be at OSD, the Joint Staff, a Combatant Command, or another higher Headquarters; with specific experience working CBRN issues to include depleted uranium. Experience must include planning and completing projects which included preparation and presentation of decision papers, briefing materials, speeches and correspondence. Must be able to travel. Must possess a Top Secret clearance.
