Companies in the Irvine/Orange County area are paying up to $48,089 for an experienced Accounting Clerk/Collections candidate. Will report directly to the Accounting Manager. Duties may include: Post cash to the AR sub-ledger and General Ledger; Support Collections desk as needed; Apply approved credits to customer accounts; Prepare Daily Bank Deposit; Customer phone calls to schedule shipments;
AR Invoicing; Light Accounts Payable;Filing and other duties that will be assigned. Ideal candidate will have Accounting knowledge and a thorough understanding of GAAP. Prior collection experience preferred. Intermediate to advanced user of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Detail oriented. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory. Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and sales reps. Some college coursework preferred.
