Description:
Training Coordinator
Adecco, who is the world leader in Staffing and HR Solutions, is hiring a Training Coordinator for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Regional Task Force (SEPA RTF). The Training Coordinator is responsible for building and maintaining a working relationship with the SEPA RTF counties and work groups, The Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency, stakeholders in contiguous states and counties and the Federal Emergency Management Agency to plan and execute the regional task force training program. The Training Coordinator will report directly to the Chief Planner of the SEPA RTF.
Essential Duties, Tasks and Accountabilities:
• Creating, maintaining and executing the regional training and exercise plans under the guidelines of the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program. Must incorporate the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency, National Preparedness Directorate, National Integration Center, Training and Exercise Integration/Training Operations resources and guidance;
• Maintaining training records for all courses;
• Identifying all training paths and needs for task force stakeholders, including specialized regional work groups, through task analysis and/or exercise outcomes, capability assessments and development of new plans based on same;
• Arranging courses in accordance with the Department of Homeland Security training guidelines;
• Working with responders and states to get approval of seminars and conferences on WMD in the region;
• Acting as a liaison between the state and work group members to attain approval for attendance at training events, both internally and externally; and
• Managing and developing the Event Coordinator.
Qualification/Requirements:
• Extensive knowledge of the Department of Homeland Security training and exercise evaluation program and the ability to apply it;
• Strong interpersonal skills;
• Minimum 5-10 years’ related experience/and or training;
• Ability to work as a team leader and team member;
• Ability to problem-solve creatively;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to work in office, classroom, or outdoors;
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships and develop partnerships;
• Ability to make decisions quickly and accurately;
• Intermediate Microsoft office skills;
• Ability to perform efficiently under pressure; and
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and/or projects simultaneously with minimal direction or supervision.

Physical Demands:
