We have an immediate need for a Gas Turbine Systems Design Engineer. JOB DESCRIPTION: CDI is currently recruiting for our client a global provider of energy equipment and solutions for the power generation and oil gas industries. This challenging contract opportunity is located at our client site. Description; The Gas Turbine Systems Design Group is responsible for the development of the natural gas, fuel oil, emissions control, lube oil, hydraulic oil, pneumatic, turbine cooling, compressor bleed, power augmentation, and other auxiliaries systems which supply all Customer Gas Turbine frames. Will be responsible for engineering evaluation, calculation and decision making in support of Customer Order Engineering (COE) project hardware and software deliverables. The position is also responsible for construction and commissioning support relating to the GT Auxiliaries through the project cycle until hand-off to Service Engineering. The candidate will also be responsible for R&D activities in the development of GT Auxiliaries systems. The candidate will work extensively with mechanical equipment on a system level and will be responsible for definition of the system components, system hardware functional requirements, and system/engine operation modes. The candidate will work with vendors to design and develop control valves, instrumentation, and other system components required for the system design. The candidate will work in a team environment and be responsible for project schedules and budgets. Requirements: The individual must possess, as a minimum, a BSME or BSEE. 3 to 5 years experience in fluid systems design is preferred. TAKE ACTION! Why wait another day? It is time to act!
