Resumes due to client by 10/20/09 but send ASAP. PRIMARY SKILLS 1. Experience in administering and supporting IT systems. 2. Experience in installing, configuring, performance tuning and troubleshooting Sun Solaris Operating Environment experience (2.8, 2.9 and 10) 3. Experience in installing, configuring, performance tuning and troubleshooting Linux Servers on x86 servers. ASSOCIATED SKILLS 1. Certified SuSE Linux System Administrator 2. Certified Sun Systems Administrator 3. Experience using Veritas Foundation Suite on Solaris. Experience should include defining disks to Veritas; creating volumes and Veritas file systems; importing and deporting volumes to/from a Solaris host 4. Experience with server virtualization using either Solaris Zones or VMWARE ESX including setting up and configuring virtual machines, configuring networking, allocation of resources to virtual machines, clustering and performance monitoring 5. Experience with EMC Networker tape backup administration 6. Experience configuring and supporting DNS, SMTP, NTP and FTP services. 7. Experience with system performance monitoring tools such as IBM Tivoli Enterprise Monitor. 8. Experience with IBM AIX 5.0 or above. Project Description: DCJS provides critical IT systems for law enforcement and various other entities statewide as well as interfacing to federal law enforcement systems. These systems must be available 7x24x365.
