Job DescriptionWe are currently looking for a team of Safety Representatives. They person will serve as the 'Contractor Safety Coordinator' (CSC). The CSC shall have no other duties other than safety management. Minimum five years experience in construction working with OSHA and state (Florida) as well as local safety regulations.Candidate ProfileContractor Safety Coordinators Responsibilities:1. Maintain a high level of presence. Must be at the site making jobsite observations and ensuring that all unsafe acts and conditions are rectified. Weekly detailed written inspections are required.2. The CSC is responsible for investigation of all accidents, incidents and near miss incidents.3. Responsible for maintaining and posting their companies OSHA 300 log and maintaining the contractor's site safety files. 4. All machinery, tools, equipment and safety devices must be regularly inspected for deficiencies. 5. Responsible for initiating permits for hot work, excavation work, lock tag out, confined space entry, and crane lifts and submitting the permit.6. Conduct safety meetings at least weekly. 7. The CSC is required to provide training to their employees on all applicable state, local and federal safety requirements. 8. Complete a Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).Candidate Skills* Certification (OSHA Outreach Trainer) is required.* Clearly understands occupational safety regulations and some familiarity with product safety.*Must be able to pass a thorough criminal background check * Must be able to function in a construction environment * Must be computer literate*Must be able to complete audit and inspection documentation.Must be able to communicate both written and verbally.Must be able to work overtime (Monday -Sunday).Must be able to travel occasionally to Texas.Manpower is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE/AA)
