Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The individual will work on the Fraud Prevention – Internal Controls team and will ensure the completion of projects focused on the internal control structure within the Theme Parks and Resorts domestic segment. The individual will report directly to the Fraud Prevention – Internal Controls Manager. This position requires working with Finance and Operations partners to review the adequacy of an internal controls environment. Work in a team-oriented, project driven environment with business unit leaders to improve the internal controls environment. Partner with Finance and Operations leaders to understand controls processes and procedures making up the internal control environment across property. Identify and document internal controls processes and procedures. Identify control weaknesses. Recommend control improvements for those weaknesses. Present findings and recommendations to line of business leaders and executives.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for the job.)
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting, MIS or equivalent
* Minimum 3-4 years business experience
* Demonstrated strong relationship and partnership abilities which will allow the individual to establish and foster effective relationships within the workplace
* Demonstrated problem solving skills, as well as continuous improvement process skills
* Demonstrated strong organizational skills with attention to detail
* Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proven experience with and demonstrated understanding of internal controls
* Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information
* Demonstrated computer proficiency within a Windows environment (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
* Demonstrated ability to manage conflict/resolution
* Ability to work in a team environment with demonstrated ability to discuss complex accounting/finance and control issues with both Operations and Senior Management
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* MBA or equivalent
* Big Four or equivalent auditing or consulting experience
* A mix of both I.T. and audit experience
* Knowledge of Parks and Resorts Operations
