Description:
Responsible for the management and implementation of corporate standards for maintenance services, security, janitorial in-house/out-sourced services, and cleaning/sanitizing standards in designated facilities. Manages the corporate facilities maintenance team. Qualifications Education: Associate of Arts Degree or Technical College Certification. Experience: 5 years minimum of facilities maintenance or construction related trade experience. 2 years supervisory experience including scheduling crews, developing material take-off lists, and ordering materials. Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Current Washington State driver’s license and proof of automobile liability insurance coverage. Journeyman level qualifications in carpentry or other related building trade preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required: Competent in building maintenance, construction, and building systems; ability to work and communicate effectively with medical professionals, management personnel, clinical, maintenance, and janitorial staff in resolving maintenance issues; ability to analyze problems and utilize appropriate resources, both corporate and contracted, to resolve maintenance problems; ability to understand construction design drawings, specifications, operations and maintenance manuals, and technical literature relating to building systems; motivated, organized, and able to stay focused and work independently. Ability to organize and implement programs and schedules. Use computer skills to build spreadsheets with Microsoft Word & Excel to track maintenance progress.
