We are currently seeking an Sr. Net Engineer to design and develop Interfaces and/or interoperability solutions for a permanent placement position in the Raleigh NC area.
Responsibilities Include:
. Performs complex product design, systems analysis and programming activities on applications software which may require some research
. Performs design, implementation and maintenance of single product modules/sub-systems
. Participates in product design meetings
. Prepares technical documentation of product sub-systems
. Performs complex bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products
. Performs coding, unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits with high quality deliverables
. Researches on the complex problems discovered by QA or product support and develops solutions to the problems
. May assist in performing on-site client work on moderately complex applications
. Drives process improvement
. Acts as technical mentor to others
. Will work with offshore development teams/projects
. Participates actively in and may lead code reviews
. Implements critical software or system changes
. Researches new technology or development tools to remain informed of current technology
. Travel (including international) up to 10%
Job Requirements: Experience/Education:
. Bachelor's degree in business, software engineering or computer science or other relevant combination of training and education
. 12+ years of technical experience in Software development
. Extensive experience in ORM, SOA, SOAP, XML, XSL, XSLT
. Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Development tools (.Net 2.0+, C#, SQL Server 2005+, IIS 6+)
. Expert in Object Oriented Design
. Experienced in systems definition and design in UML and .Net
. Knowledge of multiple database platforms
. Knowledge of EAI,and ESB concepts
. Experience in designing and developing n-tier applications
. Thorough technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation
. Excellent analytical, design and trouble shooting skills
. Excellent skills in research and analysis
. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
. Experience in design and development of Interfaces and/or interoperability solutions for Healthcare products
. Experience with healthcare systems and technology: HL7, HIE, IHE
. Experience with Microsoft Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
