Genesis10 is seeking a Technical Sourcing Specialist for a major client in Memphis, TN on a 6 month contract basis. In this role, you will be expected to build a knowledge database of supplier technical and business capabilities to support the company's dynamic and growing requirements, primarily in the biologics and pharmaceutical arena. Will also be expected to keep abreast of new product supply requirements early in the design phases to identify needed supply base elements. After suppliers are selected, will help build strategic relationships with key targeted suppliers. Part of these relationships will be identifying and communicating standards and specifications needed to execute effective procurement from the supply base and working with Strategic Procurement and the Buyers to maintain and establish (if necessary) contractual agreements. Monitor order status and perform analysis to evaluate impact of engineering changes on material plan forecast and production changes. Work with the Supplier Quality Management Organization to ensure documentation and understanding of the Healthcare Sofamor Danek supplier quality systems within the new suppliers.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as Program Manager to coordinate transfer of program information and responsibilities to commodity team and supply-chain planning personnel such that they are effective in meeting program goals.
- Provide sourcing/supply chain management leadership for launch of new products and technologies.
- Serve as Program in assuring that program-related information and responsibilities are effectively communicated and documented to ensure execution by the appropriate Materials personnel.
- Develop strong partnering relationships with the Engineering, Technology, and R&D community, as well as with the commodity teams, CRM manufacturing facilities, and management.

Requirements:
Required Experience/Skills:
- Chemical engineering, biomedical engineering or chemistry with product development or lab experience.
- 3-5 years experience.
