Our client is seeking an experienced and savvy Director of Corporate Audit Services. This position will be based in Bellevue, WA. POSITION DETAILS Our client is seeking an individual to manage and direct the finance/business activities of the Corporate Audit Services Group and report to the VP and Chief Audit Executive. Those activities are concerned with independent financial and business process internal audits of Company and its subsidiary and external audits of Company’s vendors, contractors, licensees, and others as required, as well as manage the operational effectiveness testing related to the non IT Sarbanes Oxley Section 404 Key Controls. The work requires expertise in the areas of internal and external auditing, including financial and operational audit functions. Work is conducted independently within established Company policies and procedures and within professional guidelines for internal auditing and public and managerial accounting. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required. Certification as a CPA, CIA, CMA and/or CISA is required. NO EXCEPTIONS! 10 years of progressively responsible professional level auditing or consulting experience and at least five years of supervisory experience. Thorough knowledge of audit procedures, including audit planning techniques and methods used to examine, verify, and analyze financial and operating records, statements, and reports, and the requirements of the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing is mandatory in this role. Thorough knowledge of the principles, procedures, and techniques of accounting, and of financial records and transactions including, but not limited to, generally accepted accounting principals.
