We are seeking to appoint an experienced professional to the position of Manager, Supply Chain based in our Calgary Office. This position will work within our dynamic Supply Chain management team at FT Services.
 
FT Services is a joint venture between Flint Energy Services (Canada) and Transfield Services (Australia). We strive for continuous improvement and the highest safety standards while working with our clients in a collaborative framework.
 
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Business Sustainability your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
 

Manage and oversee compliance to internal and external regulatory processes (CSOX, ISO, ABSA) as applicable
Oversight  of  procurement and sub contracts, equipment,  and materials processes
Coordinate and manage the procurement process for identified opportunities
Develop and implement sourcing strategies for our organization
Provide support to Supply Chain teams to manage workload and provide coaching or mentoring as required
Develop activity specific procurement, sub contracts, equipment and inventory storage and control strategies
Lead the equipment and small tools requirement planning process during all phases of an activity
Manage the sub contract requirement planning process based on project planning and scheduling
Ensure full traceability for client issued and FT Service  procured materials as well as proper inventory storage and control as per client and vendor specifications
Support the definition of vendor qualification requirements and ensure pre-qualification is conducted for any suppliers being considered, well in advance of RFQ distribution
Lead conflict resolution between supplier deliverables and project requirements.
Monitor suppliers to ensure compliance with agreed commercial terms and conditions
Oversee the preparation of bid requests, review vendor proposals and award vendor agreements.
As the successful candidate you will possess:
 
·         Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Engineering or Masters in Business Administration
·         Purchasing Management Association of Canada (CPP â?? Certified Purchasing Professional) is an asset 
·         10+ years supervisory work experience
·         Contract management experience and ability to interpret complex legal documents
·         10+ years of procurement experience
·         Working knowledge of industrial  equipment
·         Negotiation capabilities
·         Financial and accounting acumen as related to supply chain activities

Warehousing and inventory control management experience required
·         Strong Microsoft Office skills
