Finance Manager (Large Format National Accounts)

Description:
The National Accounts Finance Manager will be the financial partner to the National Accounts Sales team focusing on key grocery chains. This role adds value to the organization by providing accurate and timely reporting, analysis and insights in parternership with the sales team.

Responsibilities:
Lead key customer and distributor financial planning and forecasting process
Lead key customer and distributor financial performance reporting with emphasis on process improvement (e.g. enhancing customer level profitability reporting)
Conduct financial evaluation of new business opportunities (e.g. new customers, capital investments, promotional programs, products)
Be the resident expert in developing analytical tools for the sales team to help evaluate customer contribution projections and ROI, economics of promotion alternatives and freezer equipment ROI.
Provide ad hoc support to National Accounts Division Finance Director and field sales teams through data mining and analytics to optimize business decisions.

Preferred Background:
BS in Finance, Economics or Accounting. MBA preferred.
Training and experience in sales finance and accounting preferably in consumer package goods or related industry
5+ years related work experience

Skills and Technical Expertise:
Strong analytical and financial evaluation skills; ability to think independently and draw key insights from relevant data
Effective problem solving skills
Excellent Computer Skills to include all Microsoft Office applications with emphasis on Excel and Powerpoint. Strong financial database orientation (e.g. experience with Oracle Financials, Outlooksoft or comparable applications)
Thorough understanding of financial accounting processes
