Local candidates preferred Position Description: Primarily responsible for managing client software implementations, implementing process improvement for Project Managers and Principals, including advanced training and process consulting for Project Management and Business Best Practices. Sells additional products and services to existing clients as a part of the consulting process. Responsibilities: Manages client software implementations. Guides team and client through entire process to ensure timely and complete implementation. Works with the client to develop the plan and implementation checklist. Reviews, with Technical Support, hardware and network environment to identify potential problems and make recommendations to ensure optimum performance of the software. Works with Design Analyst to develop custom designs. Works with Data Specialists to perform conversions. Trains client using a variety of methods. Works with team and client before, during and after implementation to strengthen the Project Management solutions and best practices are instituted and are appropriate for the firms needs. Works with Professional Services Manager to continually improve implementation tools using consulting industry best practices as well as AEC industry best practices. Receives consulting assignments from Implementation/Conversion Administrator and/or Professional Services Manager. Looks for additional consulting opportunities with existing clients. Identifies additional software sales opportunities ie upgrades, add-ons or add uses with existing clients and refers those opportunities to Professional Services Manager or Regional Account Manager. Assists Professional Services Manager and Regional Account Managers to provide quotes for consulting services. Performs client consulting to resolve specific issues. Documents all implementation and consulting engagements accurately and completely in CRM. Uses a comprehensive and extensive understanding of products, data structure, data flow, and schema in resolving client issues to create successful clients. Keeps current on new products and enhancements to existing products. Trains clients on use of software. Presents essential concepts of product line via scheduled classes, Web/Tele-conferencing or one-on-one consulting. Understands industry accounting principles and their application to the product line. Shows clients how to apply best practices. Handles objections presented by clients during training sessions. Training of clients and internal staff on Project Management, Best Practices and Company Planning decisions to enable clients to become more successful by utilizing what the programs can deliver. Works within budget and time frame requirements for completion of each project. Handles changes in scope through project status reports, change in scope documents and client agreements. Secures signed quote before commencing work. Provides timesheet and invoice information in a timely manner for invoicing services. Provides exceptional client service. Contributes regularly to publications by writing articles. May mentor and train new Consultants on products, Project Management and consulting processes. Help develop, update, and maintain client training materials, including materials for Web classes, annual User Conference and Partner Forum. Participates in annual Users Conference and Partner Forum. Presents and assists in sessions including open labs. Escalates scheduling conflicts to Professional Services Manager. Logs each issue accurately, its cause and resolution. Documents all calls into CRM. Identifies unique client problems and elevates these issues to Professional Services Manager. Once problems are resolved, ensure client has received exceptional service. Escalates potential product issues related to software programs to Support and/or R and D. Nominates resolutions to Knowledgebase. Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience: Comprehensive and extensive understanding of product, data structure and data flow, scheme, technical environment, and consulting procedures is a must. Consulting, project management and extensive Customer service experience is required. Thorough understanding of the architectural and engineering industry financial, project accounting principles and work breakdown structure is required. Good understanding of accounting principles is needed. Prior training experience is desirable, which includes presenting to groups. Software knowledge should include the following: Windows, Word, Excel, Access, SQL and Powerpoint. Any Windows based accounting experience is beneficial. Prior training/coaching experience is also needed. At least three years as Certified Consultant or equivalent is required. College degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting is strongly preferred. Classes or seminars in public speaking would be beneficial.
