JOB DESCRIPTION WM Mumbai Operations has a large presence and requires operations leadership/expertise in managing large teams in a matrix environment. The current position is for an AVP role that shall be looking at operations functions like Middle Office Trade Support. The primary objective of the MO SDI (Self Directed Investments) team is to take complete responsibility for all tasks involved in the booking of trades for a wide range of asset classes executed by the Front Office teams. This role requires attention to detail, an awareness of the risks involved and an ability to work under pressure and tight market deadlines. Manage teams that will be responsible in · Running of all start of the day (morning) controls reports like all Un-booked trades report, Good till cancelled reports, Client spread report · Booking of the Trades for various products like Fixed Income and Equity & FX deals · Order capture and Trade queue monitoring · Follow up and query resolution with the Settlements team / Counterparty & Front Office Investors team · Attaching of SWIFT messages for securities settlement · Managing all pre-execution risks - incorrect & delayed trade booking, Market cutoffs & Queue monitoring. · Following up with internal / external counterparty for unconfirmed, un-booked trades. · Handle cross border trades and handle queries. · Coordinate with the cash management team and the Ops team for efficient and accurate execution. · Actively engage with Ops team to ensure accurate matching of deals, Swift releases & deal fails and quick root cause of deal fails. · Key facilitator of all projects such as migration of various books of businesses from other PB platforms, creation of new infrastructures and testing and implementation of new trading/processing requirements. · Monitoring and running End of day controls like Blotters check, Shorts & Doubles reports. · Creation and maintenance of new instruments across products. · Reconciliation/synchronization of instrument reference data across different applications on a daily basis. · Participate in special projects such as, data clean up, process improvement analysis, strategic projects. · Develop and report metrics to monitor progress and identify opportunities for change. · Meet internal clients/partners service level agreements and work collaboratively to establish goals. · Maintain client relationships and resolve escalations. · Developing strong relationship with all stakeholders, external & internal clients, internal & external counterparts. · Evaluate and recommend strategies to improve processes and/or resolve data issues. Establish action plans for any control self assessment items
