Roles & Responsibilities - include specific functions/ tasks/ performance objectives The primary objective of the Corporate Actions team is to take complete responsibility for all tasks involved in the setting up of Fixed & Partial Calls as well as processing payments into the clients account on day of call & maturity. This role requires attention to detail, an awareness of the risks involved and an ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. Job Description: Manage teams that will be responsible in Creation and maintenance of new instruments across products
Reconciliation/synchronization of instrument reference data across different applications on a daily basis
Participate in special projects such as, data clean up, process improvement analysis, strategic projects
Develop and report metrics to monitor progress and identify opportunities for change
Meet internal clients/partners service level agreements and work collaboratively to establish goals
Maintain client relationships and resolve escalations.
Evaluate and recommend strategies to improve processes and/or resolve data issues
Establish action plans for any control self assessment items
Coordinate with the Cash Reconciliation team and the Middle Office team. Investigations on Cash / Share discrepancies in clients account. Key facilitator of all projects such as migration of various books of businesses from other platforms, creation of new Branch infrastructures and testing and implementation of new trading/processing requirements.
