JOB TITLE: Database Engineer This software development position within the Product Development group will be responsible for designing and developing some of the most visible and exciting products on the internet. This is a fast paced environment leveraging industry leading technologies such as Java/Weblogic/Oracle to build high performance scalable applications. THE BIG PICTURE: - Partner with product managers to design and build new applications - Use industry best practices to deliver high quality code the first time leveraging open source tools and utilities to automate daily builds and unit testing - Develop database applications to solve real world business challenges - Work closely with the System Architects and Performance and Scalability experts to ensure high performance scalable enterprise applications WHAT'S COOL ABOUT THIS JOB: - Develop applications that have a large presence on the internet. - Opportunity to work on system with very large transaction requirements. - Learn from the most talented and motivated engineers in the industry. - Be a leader of technology and provide technical suggestions and guidance to the team.
