Functional Description:
Report to the Electronic Payment Services (EPS) VP and serve as a member of the EPS Management Team - this position's primary responsibility is ensuring organizational effectiveness by providing leadership to the following areas of focus: disaster recovery/business continuity, security and audit compliance across the EPS business.
Working with the management team, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of EPS organizational strategies, policies and practices. This position will interact and develop teaming relationships with peers in other areas of the ACS organization – primarily the technology focused areas, including – PSG, CISO and ITO.
Develop and Manage Business Continuity and Recovery plans for all facets of the EPS operations.
Manage Security and System Compliance with required standards for all components of EPS operations.
Assist in audit management representing EPS and business requirements.
Champion EPS support initiatives (i.e. compliance, security, fraud, etc).
Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission -- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (such as ITO, PSG), through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.
Play a significant role in EPS Operations planning, including an initiative geared toward service delivery excellence.
Education and Typical Years Experience
Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in computer or payments related field. Minimum of five years experience in operations/operations support with a focus on disaster recovery/business continuity, security and audit compliance preferred.
Experience in Electronic Payment Card (EPC), Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT), Electronic Child Care (ECC) and Electronic Women, Infant, and Children (EWIC) preferred.
Strong organizational skills including the ability to plan, direct, organize, prioritize, and control business operations.
Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to sound, ethical, moral and legal business standards and practices. Adaptability to changing requirements dictated by industry and the ACS team environment. Must be an excellent multi-tasker and have exceptional interpersonal skills.
Superior time management skills to manage projects with aggressive and time-sensitive deadlines.
Managerial or supervisory experience.
