Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for an EDI Analyst to join our team in Dallas, TX.

Job Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, and maintains system solutions for the Healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) needs of customers. These solutions deal with the major business processes used to send and receive electronic healthcare information. The task requires integrating hardware and software into a solution satisfactory to both the customer and their EDI trading partners. EDI Specialists participate with the customer in the design process and translate business needs into technical systems solutions that they then develop. They are responsible for the technical correctness and completeness of systems designs and maintenance of the systems once in production.

Main duties include:

Work with both the customer and their selected vendors to develop EDI solutions
Design, code, test, and maintain the EDI solutions that are developed
Support existing EDI applications

Required Skills:
EDI Healthcare Translation software
HIPAA
Java
PL/SQL
Oracle

Desired Skills:
HL7
Web page design and development
Unix/Linux

Minimum Educational Requirements:
Bachelors or Associate’s Degree (Engineering or Computer Science) or equivalent work experience
