If you are a Mortgage Underwriter with Secondary Underwriting and Residential Mortgage experience, please read on!Responsibilities:- Underwrite mortgage loan applications and evaluate loans that maximize organizational profit and minimize risk or loss. - Review title and deed documentation to verify appropriate vesting and ownership interest and appropriate lien history.- Work with quality control and team leads to complete projects on job level issues, including reviewing data discrepancies.- Monitor property appraisal process. Must have skills:- Must have at least 2 years mortgage underwriting experience - Ability to work in fast paced environment with consistent productivity while maintaining a high level of quality, accuracy and professionalism - Must have experience underwriting for secondary marketsThis company offers a competitive base pay of $30-$35/hr. and a great work environment!
