Account Executive - Business-to-BusinessMarcus Thomas LLC, an award-winning, full-service, integrated marketing communications agency is searching for an exceptionally talented marketing professional; an account service executive with significant experience managing large business-to-business clients. This account executive will help build, manage and execute campaigns that exceed our clients' objectives using a variety of both traditional and nontraditional solutions.The right person is a proven strategic thinker who "gets" B-to-B, is up on emerging marketing trends, a superb relationship builder, and when it comes down to it - gets the job done.Responsibilities: * Build strong and lasting client relationships based on trust, success and strategic thinking. Become the key partner our clients look to as they grow their businesses. Bring great ideas and a point of view to the table. * Create and execute flawless, cost-effective, results-oriented advertising and marketing communications programs on behalf of our clients. * Ask the right questions of everyone; clients, fellow staff members, and other smart people to be sure we are good business partners and targeting the right objectives. * Working within an integrated environment to provide recommendations for agency services to be utilized, such as research, planning, media and interactive. Search out additional business opportunities as appropriate. * Work effectively and respectfully with a variety of disciplines including planning, creative, public relations, media and interactive. * Present agency ideas and work to the client with professionalism, enthusiasm and integrity. * Become an expert in our clients' businesses and develop solid knowledge of their brands, products and audiences. Proactively present findings and POVs to clients. * Be sincerely excited about this business - keep on top of innovations, new technologies, trends and great work in the field of marketing communications. * Get the job done - work cooperatively with a variety of team members and disciplines while following internal processes and timelines. * Analyze account profitability to ensure the client is receiving real value and that the agency is realizing a profit.Requirements * Five to six years' of experience in marketing communications, advertising or brand management - minimum of four years working with business-to-business clients in a medium-to-large advertising or marketing communications agency. * A proven track record of success and results in marketing.
