POSITION SUMMARY:
Serves as the site manager and designated administrator for the Bravo Health Advanced Care facility, the Practice Administrator oversees the daily operations of the medical practice and assures that the professionals and support staff properly implement clinical policies, procedures and protocols governing the provision of patient care. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervise the professional and clinic support staff; responsible for the overall management of the business operations through the coordinated efforts of these individuals.
Participate in the development, review, and maintenance of new and existing policies and procedures.
Act as the liaison between contractual companies, and the center.
Liaise with the Bravo Health Finance and Payroll Departments on all aspects of payroll, financial reporting and expenditure management.
Produce monthly and/or yearly reports on clinic/physician production, share of net income, and overhead calculations.
Liaise with the accountant in the review and preparation of the annual audited year-end and financial statements, overhead expense calculations, inquiries relating to accounting concerns, and purchase or sale of interests, etc.
Monitor/obtain quotations and seek approval on all major funding requests and capital expenditures.
Promote sound patient/physician employee relations.
Assist the Vice President of Practice Management Operations in the review of staffing needs and deployment of staff.
Liaise with the Bravo Health Inc. health benefits administrator on behalf of employees/physicians.
Act as the Privacy Officer and resource person for the implementation of the Health Information Act.
Liaise with employees and physicians for technology and equipment requirements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree or completion of health care services management program.
3 years experience in Medical Office supervision and management.
Financial background with accounting experience.
Previous experience working in healthcare or healthcare-related fields.
Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and databases such as SQL, Access, Electronic Medical Record, etc.
Knowledge of medical billing rules and regulations and software applications.
Valid driver’s license required, as frequent travel to other clinics and/or communities will be necessary.
Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills are required.
