(NYSE: OMG) is a diversified global developer, producer and marketer of value-added specialty chemicals and advanced materials that are essential to complex chemical and industrial processes.  Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, OM Group operates manufacturing facilities in the Amercas, Europe, Asia and Africa.We are GROWING our IT department and currently seeking a Systems Engineer to complement our staff.  This position is a primary IT resource at the corporate headquarters and provides support to the executive staff and office.  The focus is to maintain site infrastructure and make recommendations to improve the current IT services.Excellent problem-solving, communication, presentation, and customer service skills are required, as well as the ability to work on a global team and manage multiple priorities in this fast-paced environment. In addition to one to 3 years of systems administrator experience, good verbal and written communication skills, excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills and experience with Office 2003/2007, Server 2003/2008, Exchange 2003/2007, VMWare ESX Server 3.0/3.5, Active Directory and Cisco VOIP, the following are some of the essential functions of the position:* Maintain corporate headquarters management of the global helpdesk ticket application and present status reports to management.* Provide technical support and deployment of cell phone and smart phone applications.* Support and maintain Cisco VOIP phones, servers, switches and routers.* Support Server 2003 and 2008, Exchange 2003 and 2007.* Assist in support of AD environment, internet, intranet, WAN and other data communications systems.* Perform basic analysis of voice/data network and contribute to architectural design, integration and installation.* Provide on-call support for one week on 24x7 rotation throughout the year with availability on weekends and after normal business hours.* Create, manage and set up standard laptop and desktop images.* Establish and document policies, procedures and standards for server deployment, maintenance and patching.* Manage vendor relationships for PC hardware, software and associated services.In return for the right skills and experience, OM Group offers an excellent compensation and benefits package including highly-competitive salary, medical/dental/vision benefits, paid vacation/holidays, 401(k) with company match, STD/LTD, life insurance, and AD&D insurance, all in a comfortable and safe work environment, located in the center of Cleveland.Please send detailed resume and salary requirements to HRJobPostingDept@na.omgi.com.  NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE.  For additional information regarding OM Group, please visit our website - .
