RESPONSIBILITIES: As part of the Focus Team at the Arena, the Focus Contract Analyst will be responsible for managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts. The Focus Team will report to the Executive VP of Corporate Sales and Broadcasting. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for various teams. Perform initial redline of contracts and incorporate legal counsel redlines to contract agreement. Review contract language on a regular basis to assure that verbal agreements are documented in written contracts. Review business needs with each vendor to assure risks are minimized and contracts are negotiated and executed as agreed. Follow through on purchases to team leaders is critical. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and team leaders and serve as the liaison between the tow over contract issues. Meet quarterly with key vendors. Serve as liaison between team leaders and Legal Counsel relative to contract issues. Assist with account renewals for hardware and software maintenance agreements. Assist with scanning and filing of all vendor documentation. Significant project management. QUALIFICATIONS: Strong PC and other technical skills required. Must possess outstanding written and verbal communication and customer service skills. Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills are required. Ability to work under strict deadlines and pressure. Quick, independent thinker, ability to challenge vendors and business leader while maintaining relationships. Must be able to maintain confidentiality of company contract/financial information. Strong attention to detail. REQUIREMENTS: B.S. or B.A. degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience. Knowledge of software licensing and technology hardware components is preferred. Previous experience with vendor negotiation and contract review is preferred. Understanding of sports and entertainment business is a plus.
