Huntington Beach, CA: If you love to talk on the phone, and build relationships with existing and new clients, then this is the position you need to apply for today !!! Receive and process incoming orders for products. Duties include informing customers of receipt, shipping dates, delays and handling complaints. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: include the following -Other duties may be assigned. Detailed Work Activities: Answer and transfer phones to appropriate personnel, relay any messages. Receive and process telephone, fax and email orders.Process samples, employee purchases and credit card orders.Maintain backorders for report municate with Credit dept. for credit approvals.Check inventory levels, research purchase order status and trace shipments en route. Calculate and quote shipping rates.Process account invoices.Maintain records, reports, or files.Investigate and resolve customer complaints.Process receiving reports, returns, billing corrections and credit/debit memos. Issue freight damage municate with warehouses.Use oral and written communication techniques.Tasks include:Confer with sales, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel on order to expedite or trace shipments.Obtain customers' names, addresses, and billing information, product numbers, and specifications of items to be purchased, and enter this information or order form.Verify customer and order information for correctness, checking it against previously obtained information as necessary. Inspect outgoing work for compliance with customers' specifications.Inform customers by mail or telephone of order information, such as unit prices, shipping dates, and any anticipated delays. Recommend merchandise or services that will meet customers' needs. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
